This week – Friday 8 April to be precise – Infinite Growth turns twelve.
At this time of the year, I find it useful to reflect on the year gone by and make plans for the year ahead. So I would like to share with you my reflections.
Reflections…
When the company was formed in the early years of the new century, I had plans to simply provide training in communication skills.
As the years have progressed, the company has evolved with the needs of our clients. We now provide customised training for groups and individuals, which are delivered at a time and location to meet the client's schedule.
We have developed products (with more to come) to meet the changing needs of our clients.
As a client recently said to me, traditional workshops no longer meet their needs. They require tailored programs to address the specific needs of their staff, which are delivered in a way that fits in with the workplace of the 21st century. They were grateful that they had 'found' me.
This particular client has had a program developed for their staff that combines the online business writing program together with individual coaching sessions that focus on specific aspects of writing.
Last year I published a book on leadership – Success Talks: Conversations with Everyday Leaders. This isn't a typical leadership book. It focuses on practical skills shared by leaders in everyday situations. The process of publishing the book was a great learning experience in itself.
Had I thought I would have moved in different directions with my company's offerings or that I would even publish a book? No, however the fact that I have, I am pleased to say that the company and our clients are better for it.
The future…
What does the future hold? We have plans for more products and delivery options for tailored programs that will continue to meet the needs of our clients. We always listen to our clients' feedback so feel free to let us know your suggestions.
Exciting times are ahead and I am looking forward to the journey that the upcoming year will take us on.
Thank you to all of our clients who have been with us over the years and who have offered us opportunities to provide programs that do not necessarily meet the 'traditional model' of training.
